A Melbourne studio
Glass, specified.
A boutique glazier in Melbourne, designing and installing architectural glass, frameless glazing, aluminium windows and bespoke commissions — director-led, documented, delivered.
The studio
A boutique glazier for the most particular Melbourne homes.
We specify and install architectural glass, frameless glazing, aluminium windows and bespoke commissions across Toorak, Brighton, Hawthorn and Melbourne's inner east. Every project is led by a named director, documented through every stage, and delivered to the AS 1288, AS 2047 and AS 1926 standards the work demands.
A small studio, by design. The work is the proof.
How we work
Three commitments.
Considered Craft
We treat every project as a one-off. Glass, aluminium, hardware and finish are specified by name, not category. We do not substitute, and we do not value-engineer in silence.
Documented Discipline
Every project is documented from measure through handover. Compliance is certified, variations are written, and warranties are delivered with the paperwork that proves them.
Quiet Authority
We know AS 1288, AS 2047, AS 1926 and NCC 2025 in depth — but we lead with materials and outcomes. The standards are the floor, not the headline.
Services
Seven disciplines, one signature.
Each one written on the quote by name — glass, AS standard, hardware, finish. Nothing left verbal.

Studio
Led by Jason Ah-Young.
Maison Glass is led by Jason Ah-Young — two decades specifying and installing glass across Melbourne’s residential and architectural projects. The studio was founded to bring workshop-craft discipline to the gap between volume glaziers and commercial façade contractors. Small and director-led, by design.
More about Maison Glass
In their words
“Every quote line named the glass, the standard and the hardware. Nothing was left verbal, and the handover pack arrived exactly as promised. It is the most documented trade we have worked with.”
